Introducing the Most Powerful RevPi to Date: Revolution Pi Connect 4

Powered by the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A72 processor and with up to 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, the latest RevPi Connect generation gets a significant performance boost over its predecessors and enables use in entirely new industrial application areas.

Due to its modular design and integrated interfaces, the RevPi Connect 4 can be used for a variety of tasks, be it as a pure industrial PC, industrial controller, edge gateway or IIoT device. Like its predecessor models, the RevPi Connect 4 is also made of robust 24 V industrial hardware and was developed according to EN 61131-2 standard.

Modular & flexible

Flexibly expandable with analog and digital inputs and outputs. Up to five IO expansion modules can be connected to each of the two PiBridge interfaces on top.

Gigabit Ethernet

Two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports ensure fast data transmission and low latency times.

Powered by Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4

The Raspberry Pi Compute Modules are so-called System on Modules (SoM) and have been developed since 2015 especially for use in industrial environments. The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 used in the RevPi Connect 4 is the latest version of the Compute Module and has a PCIe interface and optional WLAN/Bluetooth for the first time.

Software

A 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS customized by us is once again pre-installed as the operating system, which includes a real-time patch and a process image, among other things. The RevPi Connect 4 has master and slave capabilities for the common Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols as standard. With optionally available control and HMI software such as CODESYS, for which there are suitable drivers for seamless integration of the RevPi Connect 4 and its expansion modules, the device can be expanded into a small industrial controller.

Key features

  • Customized 64-Bit Raspberry Pi OS
  • Full root rights
  • Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
  • 4 KB process image
  • Graphical configuration tool
  • Driver for seamless integration into Node-RED & CODESYS
  • Modbus TCP & RTU Master/Slave functionality
