Strengthen Instrumentation and SDR Skills Through Haliatech LabVIEW & USRP Training

Haliatech conducted LabVIEW and USRP training as part of our commitment to supporting technical capability development in instrumentation, data acquisition, and Software Defined Radio. This program was designed to ensure participants not only understand the concepts, but can also apply them through hands-on practice using the National Instruments platform.

In the LabVIEW session, participants learned the fundamentals of developing Virtual Instrument-based applications, covering the structure of the Front Panel and Block Diagram, the concept of dataflow programming, and essential best practices to keep implementations clean, readable, and scalable for experiments and system testing.

The training continued with the USRP session, which focused on SDR fundamentals, including how physical-layer functions can be implemented in software. Participants were also introduced to how USRP can be used as an effective prototyping device for simulation and experimentation in communication systems. Through a hands-on format, participants followed step-by-step procedures from device configuration to basic testing.
